Application:

The Gutzeit angle connectors with bar offer versatile application possibilities.

They are used for fastening squared lumber to masonry, concrete, etc., as well as wood/wood joints. The reinforcing web gives this product a high degree of stability and makes it particularly suitable for connections where high forces have to be transmitted.

Assembly:

The angle connectors are fastened in the wood with special nails / comb nails Ø 4.0 x 40, load capacity class 3/C, profiled nail length_lef ≥ 31mm, bolt Ø 10 mm.

Beam/angle connector connection: It is essential that the comb nails are driven into the load-bearing beam as close as possible to the bending line. Purlin/angle connector connection: omitting the lower nail holes. The number and length of the comb nails depend on the respective load.

Steel quality:

DX51D + Z 275 according to DIN EN 10327:2004

275 g/m² on both sides – corresponding to a zinc layer thickness of approx. 20 μm.
