Application:
The joist brackets are used to connect two timbers that intersect in plan. They are particularly suitable for visible joints between primary and secondary beams, such as ceiling joists and joists or purlins lying in the same plane. The mounting slot allows for secure and convenient installation.
Installation:
The joist brackets are attached to the main beam using special nails with a diameter of 4.0 mm and a load-bearing capacity of class 3/C. The secondary joists are attached using dowels with a diameter of 12.0 mm or 8.0 mm for the beam support 90. After the first dowel is driven into the top hole of the secondary beam, the joist can be hung in the mounting slot of the joist bracket.
Steel grade:
DX51D + Z 275 according to DIN EN 10327:2004
Corrosion protection:
275 g/m2 on both sides – corresponding to a zinc layer thickness of approximately 20 μm.
