Application:
The rafter purlin anchors universal are mainly used for the tensile connection of two timbers that cross at right angles in plan. They are particularly suitable for transmitting wind suction forces, for securing the position of rafter purlins on hall trusses and for transmitting permanent loads such as a suspended beam layer on purlins. Rafter purlin anchors universal can be used both right and left.
Assembly:
The rafter purlin anchors must always be installed in such a way that there is the greatest possible edge distance between the nails on both connected components. The rafter purlin anchors are fastened in the wood with special nails Ø 4.0 x 40 of load-bearing capacity class 3/C with a profiled length of 31 mm. The number of rafter purlin anchors used depends on the respective load.
